I’ve always been a believer in the benefits of organisation, especially during those busy periods like Christmas. I don’t know how I could organise our family’s Christmas each year without putting pen to paper and planning ahead. Our Christmas Organiser is the perfect tool to help you stay calm and in control throughout the festive season and I absolutely love it.
I’ve also put together my top five Christmas organisation tips below. I hope these help you with your own planning and inspire you to get started now to make sure you have time to enjoy the little things.

1. Set a holiday budget
I believe setting a budget is so important because it helps guide you in all your decisions throughout the busy holiday season. It can be so easy to overspend, but by setting a budget you know exactly where you stand. In the Christmas Organiser there’s a handy holiday budget planner where you can record your budget for special items and how much you spent so you can track your spending along the way.
2. Test out new Christmas recipes
I’m such a foodie and I love to use October as my month to try out delicious new Christmas recipes. I jot down all my inspiration and ideas in my Christmas Organiser, record whether the recipe was successful or not and if I love it, add it to my Christmas menu. This way I know, ahead of time, what I’ll be cooking and what’s on my shopping list.
3. Buy your gift wrapping essentials now
I love beautiful gift wrapping and I always buy all my gift wrapping essentials early on so I don’t miss out. Decide on a colour theme and choose your Wrapping Paper, Ribbon, Gift Bags, Sticky Tape, Mini Wooden Pegs and all those lovely extras now. Create an organised wrapping station at home and you’re ready to go as soon as you start gift shopping.
4. Create a Vision Board for Christmas inspiration
I’m a visual person and I love creating beautiful inspiration boards for special events such as Christmas. I find it helps me when deciding on all those details like gift wrapping, decorations and menu ideas. I always include inspiring quotes, beautiful Christmas cards, images, photos and even Christmas decorations.
5. Ask for help
Sometimes the busy holiday season can be overwhelming (especially if you have family visiting and staying, children to look after and all the rest!). I believe it’s so important to ask for help when you need it. We offer kikki.K Christmas Workshops which are perfect for finding out lots of helpful tips for Christmas organisation and letting someone show you how to solve your unique Christmas challenges (because we all have them!). You can find out more about these online here.
Above all, make time to enjoy this wonderful time of year. I love celebrating with family and friends, especially over a great glass of wine and delicious cheese, so make sure you make time for you to enjoy the festive season.
