THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE MELBOURNE…

Stylish. Unique. Individual.

WHEM I’M HUNGRY…

I eat Japanese or Mexican. Izakaya Den and Mamasita are two of my faves.

MY CARRY-ON MUST HAVES…

Apart from the usual suspects of wallet and camera, I always need socks, hand cream, face wipes, my day planner, a note pad and pens for doodling and writing down all my brilliant plane ideas – it’s a really good time for thinking.

MY FAVOURITE THINGS TO DO IN A NEW CITY…

Find a great café and people watch before I head out shooting.

WHEN I’M NEEDING RETAIL THERAPY…

I’m a big supporter of Australian fashion labels, some of my faves are Scanlan and Theodore, Bassike, Viktoria and Wood as well as Josh Goot.

MY FAVOURITE CULTURAL HOTSPOTS…

I love art. Whether it’s the NGV, The ian potter center or one of the many independent boutique galleries around the city showcasing street art, there is always something interesting to see.

A HIDDEN GEM OF THE CITY…

The Comme Des Garcons pocket store on Rankins St in the city.

PERFECT PLACES TO SIP AWAY THE NIGHT IN STYLE..

Chin Chin’s Go Go bar for great cocktails and lots of laughs.

IF I DIDN’T LIVE HERE I’D STAY AT…

One of the Art Series hotels.

MY GO-TO PLANE OUTFIT…

I’m all about comfort while flying, so I’m always in jeans and a slip on sandal probably a Birkenstocks, with multiple layers on top that build all the way to a great jacket.

THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE STOCKHOLM…

Stylish, inspiring, picturesque.

WHEM I’M HUNGRY…

Again, there are just so many delicious spots! I absolutely love Rosendals Trädgård and Mälarpaviljongen for lunch and Oaxen is perfect for a special dinner. For breakfast, Urban Deli and Nybrogatan 38. You have to stop by Saturnus for the best cinnamon buns and order the prawn salad at Sturehof. Then there’s lunch at Dramaten enjoying the beautiful view from the balcony and of course, Miss Voon and Strandvägen 1 for dinner. I’m such a foodie and Stockholm has so much to offer!

A HIDDEN GEM…

I love Rosendal’s Garden. You can enjoy lunch or coffee under the apple trees and even cut your own fresh flowers to take home. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre and it’s simply gorgeous.

WHEN I’M NEEDING RETAIL THERAPY…

NK for fashion, Nordiska Galleriet and Asplund for interior and design and Östermalms Saluhall for food.

MY FAVOURITE CULTURAL HOTSPOTS…

I love walking or riding through Djurgården and Fotografiska. Walking through the backstreets of Gamla Stan is a must and taking a boat trip around the Archipelago to experience the beautiful waters of Stockholm.

WHEM I’M TRAVELLING I ALWAYS TAKE…

My travel wallet, notebook and pen for ideas, iPad, laptop and a few greeting cards. I love writing cards and often put pen to paper at a café or on the plane.

TIPS FOR TRAVEL ORGANISATION…

Always have a checklist. It saves you thinking about things over and over. I also use A4 Storage Boxes to keep all my travel items and documents in one spot – coins, electric plugs, passports, luggage tags etc. I know everything I need is in one spot so I can enjoy the journey.

PERFECT PLACES TO SIP AWAY THE NIGHT IN STYLE…

There are so many! Berns Asian offers a beautiful setting for a drink. I also love Lydmar’s Veranda, 19 Glas, Nosh and Chow and The Fotografiska summer bar has the most beautiful views. When it starts to get colder, Bouqueria is great for delicious tapas and cosy drinks.

IF I DIDN’T LIVE HERE, I’D STAY AT…

I always stay at Nobis Hotel because it’s in the perfect location, however next on my list is Ett Hem – a new hotel featuring interior design by Ilse Crawford. It looks amazing!

MY CARRY-ON MUST HAVES…

A stylish notebook and pens, my laptop and iPad, greeting cards, phone and computer charges. I always take a few books to read and some healthy snacks too.

Monthly Calendar in kikki.K Leather Planner and Stamps

STEP ONE: MONTHLY CALENDAR

Your kikki.K Personal Planner includes a perpetual calendar, which means you can start using it whenever you like. To customise your Monthly Calendar, cut two strips of patterned paper from your B5 Printed Notepad and stick these across the bottom. Add in the month and year at the top with your Wooden Alphabet Stamps, then fill in the dates.

Start adding in your upcoming appointments, events and schedule and use the stickers included with your Personal Planner as well as the Sticker Sheet 2pk to add a little shine. Add Adhesive Notes with extra notes or reminders to your pages and finish it off by stamping a sweet message across the bottom of the month on your patterned paper – we stamped ‘amazing month ahead’ to remind us to enjoy the journey.

kikki.K Planner Customised Weekly Layout with Gift Tags

STEP TWO: WEEKLY LAYOUT #1

Add the 2015 Large Time Planner Diary Refill to your Planner to enjoy a handy weekly calendar for 2015 then decorate your weekly layout in style with these simple tips and tricks. First add the long border stickers from your DIY Sticker Book to the left page. Finish this side off by adding a flag sticker too, and some small Gem Stickers from your Sticker Sheet 2pk.

On the right page, take your Daily Notes Pad and cut out sections of this unique pad. We cut out ‘Today’s brightest moment’ and the water intake counter. Stick these onto your page so you can fill them in when the day arrives.

Add a few stickers from your DIY Sticker Book, then punch out two Gift Tags and attach these to the corner with a Gold Paper Clip.

STEP THREE: QUOTE INSPIRATION

Before you turn to the next week, take one of your favourite Quote Cards from your Quote Card Set and hole punch this, then add to your weekly spread. Beautiful and the perfect way to be inspired daily.

STEP FOUR: WEEKLY LAYOUT #2

Create another fun weekly layout by turning your Adhesive Notes into stylish flags. To do so, simply cut the ends of your Adhesive Notes in a flag shape and stick these to the top of your pages, alternating between colours.

Don’t throw out the cut offs – add these to your pages too. With the words ‘To Do’ and ‘Love’ on them they’ll make the perfect prompters to help your organise and celebrate throughout the week.

Finish off your beautiful week with a few stickers from the Sticker Sheet 2pk and DIY Sticker Book.

kikki.K Personal Planner with Customised Weekly Layout and Envelope Insert

STEP FIVE: ENVELOPE INSERT

We love to celebrate the little things which is why we turned a simple Envelope into a fun insert for our Planner. Simply hole punch, then add a label sticker from your DIY Sticker Book – we labelled it ‘Happy Moments’ however you can choose to label it however you like.

This envelope is perfect for storing memorabilia, mementos, photos and more to remind you to enjoy the little things. You could also hole punch the Card and add this into your Planner too.
