THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE MELBOURNE…
Stylish. Unique. Individual. WHEM I’M HUNGRY… I eat Japanese or Mexican. Izakaya Den and Mamasita are two of my faves. MY CARRY-ON MUST HAVES… Apart from the usual suspects of wallet and camera, I always need socks, hand cream, face wipes, my day planner, a note pad and pens for doodling and writing down all my brilliant plane ideas – it’s a really good time for thinking. MY FAVOURITE THINGS TO DO IN A NEW CITY… Find a great café and people watch before I head out shooting. |
WHEN I’M NEEDING RETAIL THERAPY…
I’m a big supporter of Australian fashion labels, some of my faves are Scanlan and Theodore, Bassike, Viktoria and Wood as well as Josh Goot. MY FAVOURITE CULTURAL HOTSPOTS… I love art. Whether it’s the NGV, The ian potter center or one of the many independent boutique galleries around the city showcasing street art, there is always something interesting to see. A HIDDEN GEM OF THE CITY… The Comme Des Garcons pocket store on Rankins St in the city. |
PERFECT PLACES TO SIP AWAY THE NIGHT IN STYLE..
Chin Chin’s Go Go bar for great cocktails and lots of laughs. IF I DIDN’T LIVE HERE I’D STAY AT… One of the Art Series hotels. MY GO-TO PLANE OUTFIT… I’m all about comfort while flying, so I’m always in jeans and a slip on sandal probably a Birkenstocks, with multiple layers on top that build all the way to a great jacket. |
