We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives us energy and sets the tone for the whole day! That’s why we caught up with the inspiring Lola Berry, who shared this tasty recipe from Food to Make You Glow.
This recipe can be a brekkie dish, a healthy treat or a super-thick smoothie bowl. At the end of the day, it’s about making recipes work for you. This one looks really stunning, too.
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 frozen banana
½ cup almond milk
1 cup cashews, soaked for
2–3 hours (or overnight) then rinsed
2 tablespoons rice malt syrup
1 vanilla pod, split and
scraped (or a pinch of vanilla powder)
tiny pinch of salt flakes
fresh berries, to serve
Pop the frozen fruit, almond milk, cashews, rice malt syrup, vanilla
and salt into a blender and process to an ice-cream-like
consistency. Spoon into bowls, top with fresh berries and tuck on in!
