How to organise your new Diary

Because we think 2015 is going to be brighter and better than ever, we’ve released two new diary colours to match. Take your choice between gorgeous yellow and pastel pink in a size to suit your life. To celebrate, we thought we’d share our top tips to organising your diary and being stylishly efficient.

1) Add important dates

At the start of the year, go through your diary and add any birthdays, public holidays or important events to ensure you’re well prepared. Taking the time to do this properly once means there’s no chance you’ll forget anything throughout the year. If you don’t know someone’s birthday, why not take the opportunity to ask them now so you’ll always remember in the future?

2) Don’t forget your goals and dreams

Whether your goal this year is to do yoga every week or to take up a new hobby, why not leave yourself little reminders in your diary to motivate you over time? It’s easy to go off track when you get busy and day-to-day stresses take over so having cute motivational notes is a great way to inspire you to follow your dreams.

3) Put aside time each day

Proper organisation is the secret to working smarter, not harder. Taking 10-15 minutes each day to make sure all your notes are copied into your diary and your to do list is up-to-date will save you time in the long run. You can even set aside a longer time every Monday to plan the week ahead and ensure you’ve given yourself enough time to fit in all your tasks and meetings.

4) Look back as well as forward

It’s amazing how taking the time to look over things like expenditures, meetings and tasks achieved can make your more mindful and help you plan for the future. At the end of each week ask yourself what you’re proud of and if there was anything you could have done differently.
