It’s the perfect time of year to slow down and enjoy making things by hand. Be inspired to show someone your gratitude with this gorgeous idea. Chokladbollar or Swedish Chocolate Balls are a tasty and traditional treat, perfect for gifting your loved ones.
The best part is they’re super easy to make and don’t require any baking. So if you’re looking to do something unique and personal over the festive season, give this simple and tasty recipe a try.
Ingredients:
- 200g Butter, at room temperature
- 225g Caster Sugar
- 4 tbsp dark Cocoa, sifted
- 300g Rolled Oats
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 tbsp cold strong black Coffee
- Coconut Flakes to decorate
Preparation method:
Using a wooden spoon or food processor mix the butter, sugar and coffee together in a bowl, ensuring it is a smooth consistency.
Add other ingredients (except coconut flakes), mixing well.
Roll batter into about 25 small balls and roll them in the coconut flakes.
Refrigerate for 2 hours before eating.
