Coco’s Tea Party x kikki.K

To celebrate our collaboration with The Apartment during London Fashion Week, we asked the lovely Ella Gregory, Editor of Coco’s Tea Party to share how she gets organised for fashion week…

I’m an organisation freak. I love it. Thrive on it, in fact. And London Fashion Week always takes a lot of organisational prowess. The list-making and time management is such a thrill that in some sick and twisted way I actually enjoy it more than the fashion itself. Yes, I realise this makes me sound incredibly lame, but that’s just what life is like when you’re a Type A.

This season at London Fashion Week I’ve kept my commitments to a minimum, forgoing back-to-back shows in favour of intimate presentations and catch-ups with industry friends. However, out-of-office time still requires its fair share of planning and I’ve turned to my favourite stationery brand, kikki.K, to help with scheduling.

ELLA GREGORY, EDITOR OF COCO’S TEA PARTY

I stay organised during London Fashion Week by… going over my schedule at the start of each day and keeping a detailed to-do list close to hand.
I couldn’t survive fashion week without… a sense of humour! Hopping from one side of town to the other, and then back again, multiple times a day is really tiring. Especially when you factor in London traffic. So a sense of humour is a must.
This season at LFW I’m feeling grateful for… the fact I work in an industry filled with so many talented, cool and inspiring people.
The kikki.K item I always have to hand is… an A6 Notebook that I can slip into my handbag. I prefer to write my to-do lists on paper. And I’ve also just fallen in love with kikki.K’s metal rollerball pen. I know it sounds weird, but it feels so luxurious to write with!

ABI OMOLE, CEO OF THE APĀRTMENT

I stay organised during London Fashion Week by… planning every aspect of my week. Literally. I don’t leave anything to chance. Of course, it never runs completely smoothly, but it’s always good to have a plan in place.
I couldn’t survive fashion week without… my mobile. Staying in contact with my team and creating content on the go are my main concerns over LFW. So my phone is a necessity.
This season at LFW I’m feeling grateful for… friends! We’re doing so many cool new things at The Apārtment, and I’m so grateful for all of my influencer friends for being so supportive.
The kikki.K item I always have to hand is… one of the planner pads. I’m always making insane to-do lists, and it helps soften the blow of how much work I have to get through when the paper looks so pretty!

KRIS ATOMIC, HEAD OF PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE APĀRTMENT

I stay organised during London Fashion Week by… making lists! I make tons of lists, and I also try to plan ahead and finish as much work as a I can beforehand.
I couldn’t survive fashion week without… my camera, Uber, and Slack, which I use to keep in touch with everyone on my team.
This season at LFW I’m feeling grateful for… the chance to catch up so many of my fashion friends who live outside the UK. We usually only get the opportunity to hang out twice a year, when they’re in town for LFW, so I always look forward to that.
The kikki.K item I always have to hand is… definitely one of the daily to-do list planners. The gold Daily Notes Pad is my favourite – I love the fact it’s divided into sections.
