VISUAL BRAND MANAGER, ANNE, AND HER CREATIVE CUPBOARD
Q | Where is your work-from-home spaCE?
A |
I am working in the double wardrobe in our spare bedroom. I cleared it out and set it up once I knew I would be working from home, and needed a quiet space away from the toddler!
The best part of working in a wardrobe is that at the end of the day you close the doors and “leave’ the office. It also helps that the kids can’t get to any of my work things with the doors closed.
Q | What have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve discovered WHILE working from home?
A |
The fact that all my other ‘co workers’ eat my lunch from the communal fridge everyday (that never happened in my old office)!
Seriously though, trying to fit in home schooling around work is challenging at times.Kids walking in on my zoom calls can also be expected. However, I am very fortunate to work in a business that has always embraced working parents and during a pandemic this is no different.
Q | What is your favourite item in your work-from-home space?
A |
My Metal Drink Bottle. I love very cold drinks, and this keeps drinks colder, longer. I also love my Notepad Cube. As it is so pretty, it makes my scribbly notes look a lot more attractive!
Q | What have been some of the positives you’ve found working from home?
A |
Less travel time and lunchtime cuddles with my kids. I also love being able to start meetings bang on time.
Q |Which KIKKI.K products have you found the most USeFUL SINCE WORKING FROM HOME?
A |
My Planner – I LOVE it. I have a tab allocated to each team member that I liaise with regularly. When I think of things I need to share with them, I write it on their tab and refer back to it during our meetings – rather than pestering them on and off throughout the day or week..
I also have a ‘follow up’ tab that I check at the end of each day to ensure that I have ticked off the things that needed to be done that day.
Q |Do you have any self-care, organisational or general work-from-home tips to share with our guests who may also be working from home?
A |
I keep a bottle of beautiful Salus Hand Moisturiser on my desk. I ensure that while listening in meetings, I also moisturise my hands. I find it especially important now that they spend half their life doused in hand sanitiser! And it smells so lovely – which is an added bonus.
MARKETING & DIGITAL DESIGNER, BEC, AND HER DESK SPACE
Q | Where is your work-from-home spaCE?
A |
I am so grateful to have a dedicated desk in our spare room.
Q | What have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve discovered WHILE working from home?
A |
I was originally working in the living room and found it difficult to switch off at the end of the day. I found creating a dedicated space really helpful in separating my work and personal life.
Q | What is your favourite item in your work-from-home space?
A |
I love my Insulated Drink Bottle (Travel Cup). I like to drink warm water and it keeps it nice and warm for hours. I also love making lists, and love my Spiral Notebook for keeping them all in one place.
Q | What have been some of the positives you’ve found working from home?
A |
I enjoy being at home with my partner and working at home together. I also love the slower mornings without the commute.
Q |Which KIKKI.K products have you found the most USeFUL SINCE WORKING FROM HOME?
A |
I use my Notebook and Slim Ballpoint Pens every day – love them! And my Mini Desk Calendar has been really helpful for marking important occasions, so I don’t miss celebrations and milestones during this time.
work-from-home tips to share with our guests who may also be working from home?
A |
I think trying to separate your spaces as much as you can is really helpful in switching off – even if it’s just packing up the space as much as you can at the end of the day. Going for a walk at lunch or just getting outside during the day has also really helped me break up the day and make sure I’m not sitting at my desk all day.
RETAIL VM MANAGER, DOT, AND HER DINING TABLE OFFICE
Q | Where is your work-from-home spaCE?
A |
As I don’t have a dedicated office or desk, I’m currently using our dining table to work.

A |
Finding a work-life balance along with being able to switch off from the day has been tricky since working from home.
Q | What is your favourite item in your work-from-home space?
A |
I like to have a candle lit or my diffuser on nearby while I work.
Q | What have been some of the positives you’ve found working from home?
A |
I love that I can fit in a quick yoga session or walk on my lunch break. I also find this clears my mind and I feel a lot more productive in the afternoon.

I couldn’t live without my to do lists! I’m currently loving our Vintage Rose A5 To Do List Pad from the Everyday Essentials Collection. Some other products that help keep me organised are my Metal Rollerball Pens, Dual Tip Highlighters and my white Bonded Leather Journal.
Q |Do you have any self-care, organisational or general work-from-home tips to share with our guests who may also be working from home?
A |
Keeping my space minimal and clutter-free often makes me feel a lot more organised. I also make sure I step away from my screen regularly, drink lots of water and spend my lunch break in the sunshine when I can.
